Courtland, supported overnight by Chinique for over six months.
I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Chinique Brown, who served as my son Courtland’s night time doula for over six months. Quite simply, I never wanted to let her go. During one of the most challenging seasons of my life—navigating sleep deprivation, new motherhood, and overwhelming anxiety—Chinique truly saved me. She brought not only expertise and reliability, but a level of warmth, care, and emotional support that I will never be able to fully put into words. Chinique is, without question, one of the most dependable, kind, and loving individuals I have ever met. She showed up every single night on time, ready to work, and cared for my son as if he were her own. There is no greater comfort than knowing your child is in safe, capable, and deeply loving hands—and that is exactly what Chinique provided for our family. What makes Chinique even more special is the person she is beyond her work. Inviting someone into your home night after night can feel vulnerable, but with Chinique, it quickly became something I looked forward to. I would find myself genuinely excited for her to walk through the door each evening—not only because I knew I would get rest, but because I got to see her, talk with her, and share in her warmth and kindness. She has a way of making you feel cared for, seen, and supported.
Even now, Chinique remains an important part of our lives. She is not just our night nurse—she is family. We lovingly call her Courtland’s ‘auntie,’ and the bond they share is incredibly special.
I have no doubt she will always be a part of his life. Chinique is reliable, knowledgeable, nurturing, and completely trustworthy. I trusted her fully with my son’s life, and that is the highest endorsement I can give.
I will forever be grateful to her for helping me find rest again during such a pivotal time. Every new mom deserves a Chinique, and I truly cannot recommend her highly enough.

We visited Charleston for a month and we had a mutual friend recommend Chinique. She helped us as a night nurse and sitter. She was incredible with our 2 month old baby brooks. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs support with a newborn!
